Support for Communities
Our Community Support Project is rooted in the belief that lasting change begins with hope—hope that is strengthened when families and young people are supported together. Working alongside local communities in Uganda, the project provides needed support to children, youth, and their families as they navigate economic hardship, limited access to education, and other specific needs. Through family-centered services such as provision of essential necessities, education assistance, mentorship, life-skills training, psychosocial support, and community outreach, we help households build resilience and stability while empowering young people to thrive. Many problems that one family is facing (famine, lack of food/water, disabilities, non-existence of basic education, etc.) are often not unique to just one family, but are problems that an entire community is facing.
By focusing on both individual growth and family and community well-being, the project creates a foundation where hope can take hold and grow. Parents and caregivers are equipped with tools and resources to support their children and families, while youth are encouraged to develop confidence, purpose, and leadership skills. Grounded in local partnerships and guided by compassion, the Community Support Project fosters safe, supportive environments where families are aided depending on their specific needs, voices are heard, and potential is nurtured. Together, we are building stronger families, resilient communities, and a future shaped by hope.
